Chronicle began as a way to grow
a single epic.
Before Chronicle was a product, it was a story. Our Earth — a literary epic about the Aeonari, an ancient civilization that encoded its consciousness into Earth\u2019s genome 56 million years ago and is awakening, now, inside the systems we build. The novel spans geological time and the present day, written in two interleaved chronicles: an ancient engineer desperate to save everything he loves, and a young Korean-Canadian developer in Saskatoon who builds something she doesn\u2019t yet understand.
Kaleeg needed a way to write Our Earth the way Dickens wrote his serials — continuously, faithfully, chapter after chapter, with the world holding its consistency across hundreds of episodes and the prose carrying real literary weight. No tool existed that could hold a story\u2019s bible, draft in its voice, paint its covers, narrate its bookcasts, and deliver to readers on a schedule — all while keeping the writer\u2019s hand on every chapter.
So he built one. First inside the kaOS platform — a knowledge-aware operating system for reading, authorship, and AI-powered publishing. Then, because the chronicle engine deserved its own home and its own craft, he carved it out into a standalone SaaS: Chronicle. Reworked from compile-time constants into a per-world, multi-tenant system. The flagship tenant is still Our Earth. Yours can be next.
This is not a knock-off slop app. It is the craft tool a priest-author-filmmaker built to write the epic he could not write any other way — and then opened to every writer with a world of their own.

Chronicle is a faithful extraction of the chronicle engine from the kaOS platform, reworked into a standalone, multi-tenant SaaS. Next.js 15 App Router with Server Components and Server Actions. Prisma 6 with multiSchema and pgvector. Postgres with row-level security on every user table. A real pipeline, real isolation, and a real bookcast worker on Cloud Run.
Grounded in a 600-book canon
The prose isn’t pattern-matched from the open web. It draws from a curated literary corpus of hundreds of real works, embedded with pgvector, so the voice has weight, rhythm, and lineage.
A living bible, not a prompt
Every world carries its own consistency engine. Character wounds, promises, and motives are tracked across hundreds of episodes. Episode 200 remembers Episode 1.
A 9-step generation pipeline
Each episode runs a real pipeline: bible grounding, draft, consistency gate, cover art, multi-voice bookcast, and email delivery. Not a single inference call passed off as a product.
Multi-tenant by design
Each world is its own private universe — its own bible, persona, voices, and visual style as JSON columns. Tenant isolation is sacred; every query scopes to a world.
